This ... is ... me.

How does one begin writing about themselves? I feel particularly uninteresting, but I'll give just a short description of this photo, and of me. My name is Joshua Groboski, and this is me. Here you see me in the place you'd find me most days, at my place of employment, sittling in my chair with my laptop just out of view. The photo was taken by a friend of mine with my camera and my amazing new lens. I use a Canon 10d that I've been carrying for just about five years now. The lens is an early birthday present; a Canon 24-70 2.8 L USM. It is very nice indeed. I have been lugging it around everywhere. I say lugging mainly because the thing is a beast. I think the lens alone weighs in at 3-4 lbs. Add to that an already heavy 10d and the loaded battery grip, and the next thing you know, you're hauling a sack of rice around.

So anyway. That's me in typical fashion. I'm sporting the headphones and fighting the man by wearing jeans and a South Carolina state flag visor! Yeah... it wasn't even a casual day. That's just how I roll.

Enough for the first post. Perhaps I'll write something again in the future. Most likely, no one will ever read this anyway. :)
